A true New Orleans voice, crying out in the wilderness.
“[If] we dobn’t come back and build it, its going to be worse even than it was before Katrina.”

in the film “A Loud Color” by Brent Joseph
Great film. Maybe a candidate for Rising Tide Friday night?

I think that, after seeing how things broke along lines of race over New Orleans DA Eddie Jordan on Thursday, its even more important that everyone in the blogging community seek out the voices of people of color in New Orlens who either do not or can not leverage the internet to make themselves heard.
We are all in this together.
