A maple leaf blows
Across the cool Fall asphalt–
Lost ideogram.
Fixed to make it singular and a better (more particular, i.e. specific) haiku.















Of course I wonder
Where such lovely asphalt lurks
Skillet streets indeed
Summer thunder storms
bellow cool breezes, calling
Fall forth from the North.
